I don’t believe this would be at all useful considering assets in the minigame need coins for temporary perks.
I’d rather MM gain more maps and functions rather than remove the murderer’s ability to gain coins. It is how you in general gain XP and can level up both in game and lobby Quests.
Souls already exists as a fun side thing for the Halloween function as well.
I’m usually against large buffs to murderers, and this is no different. The ability to get 30 coins in the first 5 seconds of a game, coupled with an inability to keep up in a lategame 1v1, is way too unbalanced. I’m not terribly against it, as it does solve a few problems the game has, but it seems way too strong against everyone who doesn’t tool.
I do like that it’s at least semi-balanced, in that the murd’s early game is broken and the lategame is terrible - many people just propose ideas that are purely way too strong, but this one has nuance.
Sorry, but this isn’t really a good idea. Let me explain.
In maps such as Castle Town and The Backrooms, they can use 10 coins to turn of the lights or flood the area. And what would happen if the murderer couldn’t collect any coins? And what’s the point of them anyway, because the murderer would always be focused on killing people, but at the same time collecting coins. But if you have anything against this, please let me know! I would like to know your thoughts.
@BlooMoonYT this is a really good point if they can’t collect coins then how would the use the interactable. Besides they can only collect like 20 coins anyway right?
