Regular is the rank above member on forums ran by Discourse, like that of the Hive’s. If you look on most users profile, you’ll see they have a member badge.

Up until 2022 or so, everyone used to be able to obtain the regular role if they were active enough - ie, they became a regular poster - but due to weird forum elitism it got removed. These days, it’s only given to the staff team :)
