15 votes! this is a great idea
This is a very useful thing, I think it is not OP. Potions in Bedwars Hive are almost never used, mainly because of their uselessness and the cost of opening the table, I think that the invisibility potion will give motivation to buy a table and combine potions to reach the enemyâs bed, OP is that half a stack of planks costs less in time than saving up iron for wool.
Once again NO, itâs way too OP.
Maybe a little bit of a cooldown on using them to prevent spamming them back to back
No it is not if itâs five seconds
Yes it is, we donât need more 0 skill items in bedwars.
I agree so much!!!
Yes please! And also solo too; if itâs short itâs not so OP, especially if you see the armor/the sword.
We could make it more expensive for a shorter effect!
I feel like itâs too late for this post, S3 is on the way and they wonât add invis for a month.
Iâm not gonna say anything unless here unless people convince me, my point stands.
Also I donât think they will remove potions.
I donât think there is any way in HELL this could be balanced, anyone could easily walk into a teams base, trap themselves in deepslate and break into a bed. Youâd have to have itâs duration so short it wouldnât even be practical for it to not be OP.
Yes, please. 10 seconds 5 ems. That would be the price on the potion table.
Basically just crouch and hokd the other teams wool and if you want surround yourself in it at a generator so they leave you alone
I do agree this âCouldâ be a good idea, but we all know people would figure out a way to ruin the game for everyone. It would only work if each player could only use it once or something or have like a 1-2 minute cool down before using again.
And if it last longer than 5 seconds itâs too long
5 seconds is long? Note that you can see the tool in the invisible playerâs hand, and you can also see the particles on the ground when heâs moving.
NGL Iâm conflicted on where I stand on this⌠I could see this being problematic if the effect lasts too long, but if they give this implementation more thought like having some kind of particle effect, or having them cost emeralds, then I could actually see this being beneficial to the game because letâs face it, BedWars does not do enough to encourage players to go out and take risks after their generators are maxed out.
As far as it being overpowered even at lasting 5 seconds, Iâm gonna have to call BS on that when we have items such as the Knockback Dory and totems in the game, which IMO are far more powerful than an invisibility potion which only lasts a few seconds. Fire totems alone could render the invisibility potion useless, especially if they implement a mechanic where taking damage makes the user lose the invisibility effect. Iâd infact say that this addition would make the enemy alarm upgrade more useful than it currently is right now. I mean, when have any of you ever bought that upgrade? I think for those reasons, Iâll vote for this.
Noo plz we already have a invisible bug
This is certainly an addition I would want with the potion. I just took for granted everyone just assumed that this would be part of it because this is Hypixelâs mechanic.
Perhaps just the footprints like Hypixel has would work. Hive could change it to make it more original, but I think that these two features should be part of the potion.
However, as I have previously mentioned, potions will probably be removed in season three, and itâs probably too late for more potion additions. But I suppose itâs worth a shot. I think invisibility would be a good addition and can help contradict the power of some of the other items.
I mentioned the particle effect because the Trapper Kitâs invisibility spell had a particle effect for whenever someone used it in SkyWars Kits.
As for the potions, I donât think they should be outright removed as a mechanic, but there shouldnât be so much of them in the game. I think they should remove the Cryo freeze potion and the splash potions personally. The speed potion is a massive double-edged sword because it can be used to catch up to runners, but runners could also use it against you. I heard they nerfed it, but I think at max it should last 8 seconds. Any higher, and itâs too much.
If totems are staying, then the fire resistance potion should stay. If not, then the fire resistance potion would have no need to exist.
