How about we settle this by saying everyone is nice, but people who get the ‘new user of the month’ badge get that cosmetic yes?

Wait, who even has the new user of the month badge, I looked at some really popular forum members, but in badges I doesn’t show…so who has it?

Unfortunately, this would lead to favoritism towards other players and not others, which wouldn’t create the most positive environment, maybe even leading into arguments on whether or not someone else deserved it, or how you deserve it.

This would also be difficult to individually give out to a couple players and would require a decent amount of moderation to do. (Assuming that they were to continue to give it out, wasn’t sure if it was something you earned or just the few people you tagged in the post.)

They’ve individually gave out rewards to winners of competitions before. It wouldn’t be too hard.

And as for your first point, the same thing goes with competitions. People may think they deserve it more than others, but ultimately it’s the winner of the competition who did the best. It may make others feel bad, but so does literally everything else that has a winner in existence.

I see your point here, but competitions end and get hosted a few times a year. This would be a constantly going “competition” and I just see a problem with having to specially give someone a cosmetic that frequently.

Also, what are the qualifications to win/earn this? What makes the difference between the nicest person or just a nice person?

Edit: Sorry btw not tryna tear up your whole post just trying to shine light on some issues that might occur with this.
