Think of it this way
It takes a lot longer to type /q wars-sqauds (console, atleast) than it does to use the compass
But, once you have typed it in once, it takes half a second to do it again (up arrow)

Ye, but if you say gg or something in between them it takes longer, and don’t get me wrong, I understand that because at the end of a round it takes 15 seconds to join a new game. But at the same time, you’re only going to use a mount in the lobby and if you’re in there long enough to want to use your mount, your probably going to be typing in chat.

I can see how it would be helpful if you wanted to go around the hub really quick and stop every few seconds, but aside from that it seems “totally unnecessary”.

TL;DR it seems helpful in one scenario but aside from that seems kind of pointless until theres enough mounts to scroll in the menu.

EXACTLY this is why its faster cause the mount gets disabled in certain places so this would work

also bro once i have already typed it, i can just press the up arrow on pc to do the same command. when you are at spawn or near the game npcs. the mount disables, so this would be faster

It’s really alot faster to type /mount faster than clicking…at least for people who type fast

I’m not usually in a hurry to get in a mount, so I don’t see a point.

Ye, I can type pretty fast, but it still doesn’t seem very useful. Keep in mind that if your in the hub on a mount you’re likely to be chatting. And before someone says, oH but tHe MounTs diSapPeAr bY sTatuEs, maybe just, I dunno, don’t go to the statues on your mount

If there’s a /pet then okay, otherwise no.

Question: Is the command going to open the mount menu or just put you on your mount, the suggestion seems to imply the former, but if it’s the latter, then sure

/mount could open the menu and /mount spaceship would put you in the spaceship

Ye, that would be ideal. Its just the way /costume works, if I were to type out /costume Tails, it just searches for tails and brings up the menu, but only shows tails. So if it were added I’d expect it to work like that

There had been a debate about how long it will take to execute the command and how much time it’ll possibly save. And I recently remembered this post existed and I came up with a good solution!

Here are the as the of writing this 5 commands I’ve come up with:

“/m” Opens the mount menu.
“/m ss” This activates the spaceship mount.
“/m bb” This activates the bumblebee mount.
“/m cr” This activates the cruiser mount.
“/m ps” This activates the pirate ship mount.

If you attempt to use one of the more specific commands (/m ss, /m bb, etc.) and you do not have the mount you tried to activate, the following error message will appear:

“Sorry! You must own this mount to use this command.”

If more mounts come out I will create new commands if I remember this exists! Also, the reason the specific mount commands are double lettered is incase in the future a new mount comes out which conveniently starts with the same letter as an older mount!
