Message you get after sending a friend request. [Suggestion]

Affected Language:
English/German

Affected Service (Game name, hub, or menu):
Cross-server system: Friends

Affected Text:

  • “You invited XYZ.”
  • “Du hast XYZ eingeladen.”

Suggested Text:

  • “You sent XYZ a friend request.”
  • “Du hast XYZ eine Freundschaftsanfrage gesendet.”

Explanation of Issue:

  • English:
My suggestion would be to change the above text as the previous text does not adequately reflect the action of sending a friend request.
You might think this player was just invited to a party.
In German, you don’t necessarily say that you invited someone as a friend.
When you receive a message that you have sent the player a friend request, I think this is much more understandable and appropriate than the text that is now used.

Hey there,

After discussion, we have decided that the current strings are fine as they are. When you send a friend request to somebody, the confirmation message is generally understood to be referring to the request that you had just sent.

Have a great day :slightly_smiling_face:
