I mean, that’s your fault for ignoring mid, and I wouldn’t say that compentency leads to siderushing, being good at pvp and wanting quick games(instead of going for actually good gear) does

Maybe for tnt, but there should definitely be a lot of good stuff locked to those “nons”, as you’re taking a risk to go to mid, and it incentivizes doing more than just immediately killing everyone

If they were made to cost diamonds they would need to cost 10 or 12 because if it costs 5 imonds 1:15 into the game and your or the other teams treasure would be gone depending on who get the diamonds first

10-12 is still overpriced most people would get iron armer. 5-7 is reasonable

It shouldn’t be something you can just get fast, the price is fine and the block breaker isn’t useless, you’re probably not using it right since you can go through a massive defense with just one lol.

Sorry for the incredibly late response but one of the most op strats in the game to get treasures is pearl + block breaker combo as it can break through end stone like a piece of cake.Making it diamonds would just make it stupidly easy to get this stupidly op item

Hive should make it so glass protects the blocks it covers, then make the glass cost 25 gold. Block Breakers honestly aren’t worth the amount of emeralds they are. They break blocks, but that’s it. The item itself isn’t the problem, but rather the pricing. If someone were to build a monument full of endstone with everyone at the team base in squads or trios, we need a way to break the blocks around the treasure without being endlessly punched to death while mining with tools. It just holds up gameplay. If block breakers were 6 Diamonds, Squads/Trios games wouldn’t be as slow. However, so tools aren’t rendered obsolete, stone tools would need to be 3 gold each and iron tools would have to be made 3 diamonds each.
The reason why I play Solos more than Trios and Squads is simply because Trios and Squads games take years. They are super slow and aren’t as fun. If someone builds an endstone monument in Solos/Duos, it’s easier to counter since you would only have to deal with one person, unlike with other modes. I can deal with two people at once in Duos sometimes, but Trios and Squads can be a hassle. So, I’d still like to see some price changes.

I get where your coming from but you have to remember gens speed up at the 15 minute mark so it would be stupidly easy to get breakers.mabye if they costed like 10 diamonds and they made it do less then mabye it could be done but idk, it seems quite ballenced to me seeing as near the end game it feels the only way to get treasures is to pearl in, bomb the defense and get the treasure with the intent on dying(after all you gotta wait for the emerald gen to drop twice giving you enough to buy a breaker and a pearl)

I disagree. Making block breakers 10 diamonds and making them break less blocks would make them pretty much useless. With that, I would rather wait for 2 extra diamonds and get iron armor while I’m at it. Giving blocks such as endstone more blast resistance would be fine with me, but making block breakers break less blocks and make them cost almost as much as a permenant armor set would make them pretty much obsolete. Heck, at their current price, I would rather buy a diamond sword since it serves a better long-term purpose and is more worth the amount of emeralds it is.
