Language Command Spanish

Affected Language:
Spanish (Spain)

Affected Service (Game name, hub, or menu):
Language Command

Affected Text:
“Has establecido el idioma de tu Hive en Español (España). Puedes cambiar tu idioma en cualquier momento utilizando de nuevo /language.”

Suggested Text:
“Has establecido el idioma de Hive en español (España). Puedes cambiarlo en cualquier momento usando de nuevo /language.”

Explanation of Issue:

  1. “tu Hive” – “Hive” is a proper noun and does not need the possessive “tu” (your), which sounds awkward in Spanish. It’s better to treat “Hive” like a brand or service name.

  2. Capitalization of “Español” – In Spanish, language names are not capitalized unless they start a sentence. So “Español” should be “español.”

  3. “utilizando” – While grammatically fine, “usando” is simpler and more natural in casual or game-related contexts.

  4. “cambiar tu idioma” → “cambiarlo” – This avoids repetition and makes the sentence flow more smoothly.

Our translators have approved this suggestion, and it will soon be implemented into the game.

The only thing to note is that I wasn’t able to change the capitalisation of Español because of the way this text works on a code level.
