I was playing skywars, and I was kill leader, with 8 kills. And then, bang my teamate gets his first 2 kills of the game, when a message in chat said he was kill leader. Am I missing something?

I don’t have a video, but usually when I’m the first one to get a kill and have 2 or more kills, someone else gets only 1 kill and it says they’re kill leader
