How to make things work out

It’s already be a YEAR since hives vaulted the arcade and added the new hub but I noticed something. The main reason the hub was added was to have more space, and looking at it now, there isn’t really much space left for other games, if hive adds more than 2 games, the game podiums will be off centered and looking weird. So I have a idea on how to solve this issue! And plus some other things that hive kinda lacks in.

HUB SPACE:

There isn’t really much room left in the hive hub for future games so what I recommend is actually doing this:

You add back the arcade (no this isn’t a post to beg for hive to add arcade back) which will give you a few podiums empty for future games. Additionally I think adding the old hub might be a good idea! Even if the hub has less space, there is so much for the seasonal events, just some small garlands and candy canes really add to the Christmas sprit and make the hub more alive! This is also same for Halloween or should I say Hive-o-ween! Just a couple pumpkin patches, custom fake spiders and cobwebs really adds to the spooky vibe! Now moving on to and talking about spooky vibes, we have ghost invasion, a fun filled game filled with ghost, and it is a hive-o-ween special! But when we go to Winter fest, ever since hive added ground wars as a permanent Gamemode from the mixed arcade, we haven’t been seeing snow wars, which is kinda sad so here my advice:

You replace snow wars with ground wars for the winter holidays and when it gone, you will add ground wars back with all of their levels (I don’t wanna max ground wars again)

OR

You can change the eggs to snowballs and only have the OG snow wars maps and the lobby but still have the q command for ground wars and have a notification in chat saying (want to play ground wars instead of snow wars? Try /q ground!)

Updates:

Hive has 13 gamemodes (excluding parkour worlds) and only a few of them get updates. For example hive were too focused on games like hide n seek, Bed wars, and Skywars, that they delayed the SG level update for 5 years (:skull:) tho thankfully, it is now officially on the hives roadmap and will be added in the near future. My plan is that they add or TRY to add at least 1 update, or bug patches or QOL for all games in a year this will bring every game to its limits instead of just 1 or 2.

I hope y’all like this idea to simply make hive feel more modern and as always, I’m open for feed back!

I agree with the Snow Wars thing, but I kind of disagree with the arcade-like hub returning.

Bringing back a type of hub that separates games from the main hub is a good way to kill the game’s playerbase. Correct me if im wrong, but when they added CTF to the main hub, player counts went up, while Survival Games playercounts went down when it was moved to the arcade. I do NOT think Hive needs to add another hub to separate gamemodes, as this will hurt player counts.

I do agree with the updates, however eventually Hive will update every game, and making sure the update is not only full of content but also polished is important. In my opinion, I would rather have updates that focus on adding large sums of content, that took time to plan out, test, polish, and it extremely full, rather than an update that adds a few new things to every single gamemode. I really dont think it would be that smart to pour time and effort into gamemodes that arent quite as popular (such as block drop or block party for example) to release MASSIVE updates that dont really need it. There are 14 different games on the Hive, (Not to mention replay cinema and other areas to polish/maintain) so constantly releasing updates for them will probably be tiring, and they wouldn’t be as full and polished as the massive updates we occasionally get. Bug patches and QOL features do happen (even as small as SkyWars weekly items), but they really arent "massive updates, which I do agree would be nice.
But right now, they are probably focused on their Skyblock Horizons server, so I feel like we don’t need any huge updates, the smaller ones such as adding more levels/cosmetics to games and the Star Shop should suffice for now. Im not saying I wouldn’t want every gamemode to be updated, im just saying id rather wait until each gamemode gets the spotlight eventually and gets the massive update they deserve.

TLDR: Every gamemode will eventually get the update it deserves, it may just take time.

It has been a year, and while they did say they were re adding them, its not their priority it seems.

Maybe the old hubs as a time travel event?
