Now, first off, this is a rip off from another server(which is pretty much dead) but it was a REALLY fun game back in the old days.
Its basically bedwars mega but with 4 teams, more players and a much bigger map.
There’s a block of endstone called nexus(that makes you respawn) which has 75 health, so you mine it 75 times to destroy it.
Every base has an iron mine, gold mine, redstone mine and theres one single diamond mine common to all in the mid which teams fight for.
(once you mine an ore, it turns into cobblestone for a while and then turns back to be mined again)
The nexus is located in the deepest most safest corner of a team’s base so its really hard to get to.
Theres also an enchantment table in every base, a renewable wood source, a renewable food source, a shop(where you can buy stuff from gold), a nether portal(which you can use to change classes) and an ender furnace(personal furnace)
Then theres different classes that a player can chose from.
The whole game is divided into 5 phases:
Phase 1(10 min): The prep phase, here the nexus cannot be harmed.
Phase 2(10 min): The nexus can now be harmed.
Phase 3(10 min): The diamonds in the mid are now mineable and all teams start fighting for them
Phase 4: A boss spawns in the end realm(theres 2 portals on the entire map which you can use to get to the boss. Whichever team kills the boss(lands the last hit), every player of that team gets a nether star, which when they right click on opens a shop menu where you can chose one item to get for free.(potions, armour, etc.)
Also, armour is NOT fixed. If you get killed, the one who killed you gets the armour. Everyone always spawns with a leather armour dyed to the color of their teams though.
And
Phase 5: The nexus now takes 2 damage every time its mined.
The team whose nexus remains on the end wins.
Theres many different maps you can play this on, and a plethora of classes to chose from, from scout(a class where you use a fishing rod to literally propel yourself ANYWHERE you want), to pyro( if you right click an item in your inventory, everyone around you sets on fire, then theres a cooldown to use the ability again)
Once you get the hang of the game, it gets REALLY fun. Theres so many different tactics you can use.
And I think a 50 min game on a large map is really fun.

EDIT: Also, you can only use the specific tool to mine a block. So only shears for wool, axe for wood and stuff. Everyone spawns/respawns with leather armour, wood sword, wood pickaxe and wood axe. Rest you craft on your own. And the stuff you spawns with can also vary with your class.
And noone can put/break any blocks in some radius of the nexus. So the way to defend is building walls and other stuff. Other than that, you can break most of the common blocks in the game…
