The value is in boosters whick give you a higher number above your head in certain gamemodes??

I think this would fit great and would make perfect sense as a Hive+ perk, however I feel like Hive+ already has so many perks and is arguably already the purchase that is most worth it. I think it would make more sense to perhaps have this as a perk for another future rank if there is ever going to be one

The foundation of the idea, having a unique hat for Plus members, sounds intriguing, but I don’t think this would be the most optimal way to do this. As others have said, the model that you’ve presented may appear confusing to players due to it’s nature - maybe some sort of cap with a “+” symbol on it might work better, or the particle idea, like you said.
Furthermore, I agree with the fact that Plus already has a lot of unique perks associated with it, does it really need another? I think this cosmetic would work nicely with any future purchasable ranks that release.

For people who want to grind levels to get the cool costumes at the end of them, those boosters can be very helpful. I would know. It’s not just a number, you get cool rewards along the way.
The higher quest limit is also valuable since you can complete more quests in one day, letting you get the cool costumes faster. (I really like costumes lol)
A Hive+ hat would be cool, but it doesn’t seem necessary since Hive+ is already worth the $10.

With regards to the hat not bee-ing (hehe) necessary with the other perks, when hive created the rank they hadn’t implemented pets or hats so they wouldn’t be able to consider this as a perk!
Certainly hats are becoming a common thing as hive now seems to be making the max level rewards for the latest gamemodes hats instead of costumes; so it would be weird not getting a hat for a rank!
I hope you see what I’m trying to say here- hats are becoming more common so it would make sense to get one for hive+!
