Hive Knock Back Must Be Changed Back

Bedrock pvp rn is the same as 1.8 pvp so known as the only good pvp. 1.8 java is the pvp bedrock has you just can’t blockhit

I don’t think that there are any differences, or any intentional difference at least. Hopefully a staff-member can confirm if there are actually any differences.

Maybe not intentional but it has affected alot of people though and yeah we could be wrong and it could just not be changed and server lag or sum could be affecting it idk but yeah i agree, lets have a staff member comfirm it or not.

Agreed. S tapping and W tapping is now useless. Doing it doesnt allow you to combo the player but instead get comboed

You take more kb in 1.8 than 1.9

This topic is related to Hive’s KB. There aren’t any significant changes between client sided versions to change knockback.

i know that 1.13 (bedrock) changed pvp a bit tho

thats why some servers use 1.12

The KB on Hive has always been the same in my opinion I have had no problems with combos what so ever. Wtaping in bedrock just distances yourself from the other player it is not used for extra knock back

Afaik, the only thing i noticed in 1.13 about pvp was that the hit reg was a little different and some combos couldn’t be picked as easily as before. Noticed absolutely nothing about kb. Also, I’ve seen zero people complaining about trading hits and blaming kb changes.

tldr, I’ve been playing the hive for over a year now, and have noticed nothing about kb changes, and have seen nobody complain about it until now.

I completely agree with your points, most of the hive competitive players usually do sumo and most of hive’s fanbase is because its the only good featured server that allows air combos which people want

Hit reg has been awful for me. I butterfly click and about half of my hits actually register

I do disagree with you’re statement but it is what it is. Now to get combos you actually need to know how to do it. It’s no longer if you have good WiFi you can easily get someone in the air and keep them there. The only people that are complaining are the ones who don’t know how to combo properly. It’s really not difficult if you actually practice but that’s something you have to do, I can’t do it for you.

It’s not hard to combo. You can have bad wifi and combo. It’s pretty difficult to combo on 500 ping when you have an average of 70. Wifi doesn’t really give combos it is you strafing and wtaping

Sending an attack packet in Minecraft Bedrock doesn’t break your sprint like it does in Java. W-tapping isn’t effective on Bedrock since velocity isn’t multiplied by a fraction when someone sends an attack packet to another entity.

honestly ping on java gives more advantages then in bedrock (because lag is pointless on there)
