Well things like murder and stealing are also crimes but you don’t see any games getting anything to prevent them. It’s just part of the game.

BUMP, again there is a murder mystery update coming soon. I really don’t want it to just be all about the new games and hub. I’d love some minor additions to base MM.

I believe that the murderer should get a random amount of coins after each kill. Just leaving it at a certain number seems unnecessary, especially if it’s a super low amount.

My calculations show that if we kept the 10% rule, you’d barely get any coins. Say you have 15 coins, and the murderer gets 10% of your balance. The murderer would only get 1 coin (the actual number is 1.5, but you can’t have half of a coin).

Naturally, I believe the amount stolen should be around 30-35%. 30% of 15 is 4.5 (or 4 coins in a realistic sense) and 35% of 15 is 5.25 (or 5 coins). That way, robbing graves actually has a good outcome and gives more to the murderer. There isn’t really much the murderer can do with coins other than buy items with them (I think, haven’t played MM in a while), so it would work out for everyone in the end.

It would round up.

The issue I see with getting 30% is that further into the game the murd would have a huge advantage. You going to be killing 15 players 2 coins per player already puts you at 30 coins.

This idea is meant to slightly help the murd without ruining the balance of the game.

I don’t think there’s any buff for the murderer and coins, so I thought more meant better. Whatever idea you have for this post is yours.

Well perhaps the murderer gets those values (also maybe a half should create a full coin the next time you get enough 1/4 or 1/2 coins) but should not be able to steal from the grave, instead innocents can do that (unless you’ve already said that and I’ve missed it)
