I’m not exactly sure why you can’t edit a poll after 5 minutes of making it. Right now I can’t update my murder mystery and survival games map polls because of the limit. For example, I created the survival games map poll before Northwood was released and now I can’t add Northwood to the poll.

I’m not exactly sure if this is something that can be easily changed within the Discourse software (like with the suggestion votes limit), but I hope that this will be changed.

This category is not for forum suggestions, anyway it kinda makes sense that you can’t edit polls because it might look like nobody voted on the old one while it actually was not there.

I don’t think there’s any way to change this within Discourse unless there’s a plugin for it. Also, I think it’s there for a reason - it’ll skew the whole poll since one the options will start later at 0 even though several others may already have a lot of votes. You’re better off making a brand-new poll with the new option.
