i think it’s a horrible idea to me (please don’t flag, it’s my opinion) mainly due to it will pull someone off (as with the new rod mechanics,) and someone might abuse it and make it a unbalanced game if you have a rod, and besides there’s many things that can make people go flying, even the chonkback hammer (kb nemo) so you do have some variety.

Ah makes sense, (but still weird) but yeah excusable
I prefer having snowballs instead of rods. Most tools don’t have durability so I’m guessing rods will be the same, which means players would be able to rod spam the entire game. Snowballs have to be used sparingly unelss you want to run out in a few seconds.
A lot of other people already talked about how rods would be harder to use for a mobile player so I won’t touch on that.
