Fair Play in Hive to make it more fun
So i thinked this feature for Hive it should be fair
Make the bot send emails to players if their PE,PC,or Controller Player then if they say where platform they play send them an email For the IP of the Server of Their Platform the crossplay server would be on hive
Hive could easily do this during peak times, I am for this but games like SG and deathrun might still have combined queues since they don’t get alot of players
people could easily lie about what platform they say they are
controller mobile players exist lol. Plus keyboard and mouse console players are a thing.
How do you lie about your platform? Isn’t it an automatic system?
First I don’t want this to be added because they are trackpad players.

Yeah but it’s not like everyone is going to want and know how to use them. Maybe we shouldn’t talk about that stuff here @Wrongporupine.
How about instead we keep Minecraft better together? Crossplay is the future, also optional crossplay would make queue times worse
Pure crossplay is a bad idea, if you give controller players a autoclicker, and do the same to mobile players, it would be more fair
I’ve never been a fan of separating players by platform. The whole point of 1.2 was to bring everyone together – for better or for worse. Forcing platforms apart interrupts the gameplay of friends that play from different devices, will never fully fix the balancing (there’s kbm Xbox players, controller mobile players, and trackpad Win10 players, for example), and will likely ramp up the queue times. I wouldn’t mind an opt-in mobile only server though.

We are able to see what platform each player is playing on, so if we ever did introduce this feature no one would be able to lie just to go up against players of a different platform.
No true @AniKitten there are hacks that can fake it
If you spoof your device then you will be punished for it. We have multiple ways to verify your device type which makes it extremely hard to fake it.
Yes you can fake your platform using hacks, however I don’t see somebody getting away with it for long if they got anywhere stats-wise
