In the Hive rules there is a list of banned mods and a list of mods that are legal. This means you can download whatever you want, but make sure you only enable mods that are permitted in the Hive rules. Here is the list of legal and illegal mods: The Hive - Client Modifications
Yes, a weather changing mod is a feature available on a lot of clients and isnât ban-able. However, If, as I forgot to consider on a different post, youâre on console, you canât download any mods. For mobile, Iâm not 100% sure, but you cannot download any clients that I know of.
I wouldnât mind the addition of weather in the hub; especially when I spend very little time in the hub. This would help to make the hub more interesting and give it the feeling that you are in vanilla Minecraft.
Let me clear this up: If you can internet search on your mobile device, you can get clients. Itâs possible but more challenging than a PC player would find it.
Real, client side, weather toggles programmed into the game seems like a good idea, as previously stated.
