I don’t think this is necessary with season 2 anymore. I almost lost a hit trading fight to someone in iron who had a healing and fire totem, as well as a diamond sword, vs me in diamond with a stone sword. I had 5 health (2.5 hearts) to spare, which meant if they had a little more skill over me I could have lost. Considering there are potions and fireballs too, you can get them low relatively fast.
diamond armor isn’t what needs to be changed. It’s how much dammage weapons do to it

Thats if they have diamond armor. Otherwise diamond is the best.

Not with Season 2 anymore. Fire Totems and Potions are really overpowered, and can let many people win with worse gear. For example, I was in iron against someone in diamond, and they raged because the fire blocked their view which made it harder to fight back allowing me to win (from the fire totem) not to mention they took damage dying to the void at half health while i had full.
