# A way to decrease moles

> **For those who need a refresher on what a mole is.**

> A mole is a player in Sky Wars who mines underneath their island to gain multiple resources and sometimes hide. Moles hold up the game and tend to be newer players.

The way to fix this problem is to decrease the amount of ores that generate lower down. This would cause less players to mine down. Furthermore a message stating that their are less ores lower down would make sure players know this. The reason this would work is it would de incentivise moving as it gives less benefits.

I really don’t notice people digging down and if they do it is usually easy to kill them easily, for a second I thought you were talking about science moles so I was kind of confused.
